Condo Lawyer (Remote)

Location Toronto
Job Information

A leading fully-virtual condo law boutique seeks a remote lawyer to join its team.

The Role
This fully-remote and tech-forward role is for a lawyer who may (or may not) have condo law experience but does have relevant background experience and a client-centred approach. This solicitor role has some online tribunal work and room to grow for a dispute resolution enthusiast.

The firm offers a generous compensation formula based on billings and experience. It will fairly reflect a lawyer’s work product, with a draw against future earnings to start. It allows you to tailor your time commitment to suit your ideal flexible workday, both now and in the future.

What Is Condo Law?
Condo law combines technical real estate, corporate governance, corporate-commercial, and dispute resolution law. It’s “real people” law, providing outside general counsel advice and representation to condos across the province.

Condo law is an under-served niche with more than 12,000 condos in Ontario and counting. There is more demand for condo law than there are condo lawyers to fill it.

In this market, our client stands out with a solid reputation for excellence as a client-centred law firm providing condo boards and managers with accessible, quick and focused legal advice. Our client is busy and has the work and resources available to help a like-minded lawyer succeed and build their reputation in this growing and under-served niche.

You
The right candidate will have a pragmatic and client-focused approach and bring 1.5 years + of post-call experience with some or all of:

  • Condo law (ideally).
  • Real estate.
  • Contracts and corporate law.
  • Litigation and dispute resolution
  • Customer service.
  • Cloud-based technology, document automation, and AI-assisted platforms.

Please apply in confidence to [email protected]
