Clients
Branion Williams is a legal recruitment firm servicing law firms, public entities and in-house legal departments. We operate throughout the GTA, Canada and internationally. Our recruitment services include permanent and temporary placement of partners and associates.
The search consultants at Branion Williams are experienced lawyers, as well as legal recruiters, so we intimately understand the legal market. Our wealth of experience has also resulted in a broad network of contacts among many of the leading law firms and in-house legal departments.
The Branion Williams Difference
How do we serve you better? Through the following steps:
- We operate in a team environment, thus negating any internal competition;
- The collective use of resources and work product, results in being completely focused on your needs;
- We take the time to really get to know both you and the candidate. Understanding both of you means that we find the person who suits your firm or organization professionally and personally; and,
- Our guarantees are meaningful.
Our success is measured by placement and retention of our candidates.
Fees and Information Provision
- How does the fee structure operate at Branion Williams? Here’s a quick review:
- We render contingency-based legal recruitment services;
- You pay us a fee based on a percentage of the candidate lawyer’s annual compensation;
- Unless our candidate is hired, there is no fee; and,
- There is also no fee if you previously received our candidate’s information within twenty-six weeks of our submission.
- Finally, we will not present a candidate’s information to you without previously discussing the matter with you.
Guarantee and Replacement
Although Branion Williams prides itself on only presenting candidates that truly meet your expectations, sometimes a candidate simply does not work. Accordingly, we stand behind our recruitment services and offer a meaningful six month guarantee period to protect our clients.
Should you need to terminate a candidate’s relationship with your organization within six months of their placement, Branion Williams will endeavour to present a suitable replacement candidate at no additional charge. If a suitable replacement candidate is not feasible and the placement fee has been paid in full, the client is entitled to a refund. In the event the relationship is terminated within three months of the candidate’s start date, the fee will be refunded in full. The fee will be refunded on a prorated basis if the candidate leaves after three months, but before six months of the candidate’s start date, the placement fee will be reduced by a fraction, the numerator of which is the number of whole months remaining in the six (6) month guarantee period and the denominator of which is six (6).
